My dad loves coming to the fisherman’s wharf to have fish and chips every time he visits Perth. Him and mum would catch a bus to Freo and head for Cicerelo’s. I think it’s the only food he really looks forward to having when he is in Australia. It’s really bad for his health (cardiovascular) and that’s why it’s just a treat for him.

Happy times, meetings, greetings and hugs. I have visited WA four times and each time I have for some reason or another needed to meet friends in Freo and they all choose the Fishermans’ wharf. They tend to variably choose either Cicerellos, the Mussel Bar or Little Creatures but it is always this part of Freo. Lovely area either peaceful and calm of a morning or all hustle and bustle of an afternoon but always associated with good times.
