My Grandma is 84 and all but completely senile. She manages to hold onto her fondest memories of Fremantle during the war years and the Sailors who would take her for dinner at the Roma.
Unfortunately it is difficult to tell fact from fiction in her amusing tales.
Before the Roma closed several years ago we would take her for lunch and she would tell anyone who cared to listen candid details about her war time “companions”
